Apolline RÉGENT's First Solo Exhibition

Apolline Régent is going to “moo-ve” you. And to believe it, you have to see it!

With *A POLLO SHOW*: *And This Is Why I Don’t Cook*, L’Avant Galerie Vossen presents artist Apolline Régent’s first solo exhibition.

That’s right… Apolline knows all too well how to cook us up a storm! She feeds us with her humorous works, sprinkled with absurdity, spiced with a hint of unease, and always served with a generous ladleful of tenderness. Far from cynicism that turns sour, Apolline weaves her poetry with mischief and plays with our imagination. She tells stories populated by characters—slightly melancholic figures with pig noses, fennel stalks trying on different colored dresses, a chicken dreaming of escaping the rotisserie and flying to the moon…

So, pressure cooker, make way for the artist! Grab your paintbrushes and turn those rotisseries: welcome to the A POLLO SHOW!

Apolline Régent lives and works in Paris. Born in 2001, she is a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Goldsmiths, University of London. She has developed a practice that blends installation, painting, drawing, and sculpture.

A catalog will be published to accompany the exhibition.
