An exhibition affectionate nod to Claude BERNARD, gallery owner

After more than three decades working alongside Claude Bernard, Caroline Vossen, director of L'Avant Galerie Vossen, pays tribute to him, a talent scout, a conveyor of emotions, and a catalyst for encounters.

This exhibition, a loving tribute to Claude Bernard, presents a collection of works by numerous artists who collaborated with him, as well as photographs that capture the unique atmosphere that surrounded him for so long.

Claude Bernard's family, friends, and colleagues were invited to share their memories and personal photos. These documents, which bear witness to an era and a life dedicated to art, reveal the people, places, and events that marked his journey.

A catalog, produced in collaboration with Elizabeth Mabin and Marion Meary, accompanies the exhibition. This publication captures precious memories from 37 years of a career spent with Claude Bernard and his friends.

A Parisian gallery owner, Claude Bernard opened his gallery in 1957 and influenced several generations of artists and art lovers with his unique vision and unwavering commitment to artists.
